Busy Bees...

We've been so busy lately. We sold our house and bought a new house at the end of June. Then we painted and carpeted the new house and have been trying to unpack for a month now. In the midst of buying and selling, we went on vacation. Zac changed positions at work and is now in a less stressful, no-travel job. It's wonderful! We didn't move far, just closer to Zac's parents who also live in OKC.

Zoe is growing and doing amazing things all the time. She started speaking in sentences and picks up new words or phrases everyday. She is starting to potty-train, though we aren't pushing hard on getting to that goal. Her favorite activity inside is coloring or playing with Daddy and her favorite activity outside is digging in the dirt.

(Below) Zoe is learning to play the piano. We play "Mary Had a Little Lamb." She sometimes will hum the tune while she is playing. July 2008.

(Below) We went to Edmond to play with some friends we haven't seen in a year. July 2008.

(Below) Our neighborhood threw a block party at the beginning of August. It was a great way to get to know our neighbors and meet other young families. Zoe discovered the blow-up jumping 'thing' and thought it was the best fun of all. She had to hang onto the side in order to jump. She had a blast! August 2008 .

Yipee!! I'm so excited that you guys have a blog now! I cannot BELIEVE how big Zoe is. Try to get her "setence talking" on video sometime, it would be fun to hear her talking since we never really got to experience that! Glad things are going well and that you love the new place!
